Spasov & Bratanov successfully defended a client against allegations of abuse of a stronger bargaining position

Kremena Yaneva – Ivanova, Senior Associate, with the support of the Managing Partner Georgi Spasov, acted for Nova Broadcasting Group EAD (“Nova”), a major TV operator, in two cases at the Bulgarian competition authority formed upon complaints of several regional cable operators. The complaints targeted the marketing policy of Nova for distribution of its TV channels through the networks of cable and satellite operators. After CPC rejected both complaints, the disputes continued at the Supreme Administrative Court and were finally resolved in favour of our client.
