Spasov and Bratanov advised UniCredit Bulbank AD on certain investment loans in the total amount of  EUR 50 million for the development of a large solar project in Bulgaria.  When completed, the project will increase Bulgaria’s capacity in the production of sustainable renewable energy. The transaction involved full scale due diligence of the project’s assets, licenses and permits and contractual framework  as well as innovative structuring of real estate rights in order to accommodate transaction specifics.  Our team was led by partners Georgi Spasov and Boyko Bratanov and included senior associates Kremena Yaneva, Tsvetelina Lazarova and Petar Dyankov.
