The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is a longstanding client of the Partnership. So far in 2017 we acted for EBRD on no less than three cross border deals. In a very tight timeframe, where swift fulfillment of the conditions precedents to disbursement was crucial for the borrower, a team of three lawyers, lead by our banking & finance partner Vassil, including Nadia and Nayden advised the multilateral in relation to a EUR 6,000,000 secured loan to Frontex International EAD. The Frontex group of companies, which is one of the leading debt managing conglomerates in Bulgaria, will utilize the fresh loan to expand its business focused on the acquisition of NPL portfolios and there collection.
